His real name is Timothy William Burton considered one of eccentric and fantasy directors of the present cinema, with that gothic characteristic and dark and simultaneously tender vision that it shapes in its films and it isn’t necessary to be cinephileto notice these characteristics in its films, Tim Burton has become of a place of prestige in the industry of the seventh art. It was born in August 25th in 1958, in Burbank, California (the United States). Director, scriptwriter and American producer, Timothy William Burton is one of the most original authors of present Hollywood, creating an own universe marked by mythomania, the culturalrecycling and an overflowing imagination of great visual stamp with personal histories, many of them dampened in black humor and meant by the main protagonist of unadapted characters, antiheroes of easy identification with its author. Tim Burton is the prodigy child of the direction of the cinema, master of light and darkness, of dolls, toys and monsters, capable of making us cry with a guy withscissors instead of hands and make us laugh with ghosts from another world.
