PVTi Description
P (Pressure) V (Volume) T (Temperature) An interactive program that allows you to tune Equation of State parameters to experimental measurements. The Equation of State (EoS) produced can then be used to generate the keywords used by the ECLIPSE BlackOil, GI option, Compositional and VFPi programs. The main window contains all thetools required to fit an EoS model to experiment results from a PVT report. The following menus are provided: File. Operations involving import or export of data all appear under the file menu. This includes: opening and closing projects; printing plots; importing information from other PVTi projects or ECLIPSE Compositional data sets; and exporting the EoS model as keywords for ECLIPSE BlackOil,GI option, Compositional and VFPi programs. Edit. Operations to directly manipulate project data are available under this menu option. This includes operations to change the fluid properties, the

samples, the experiments, the observations and the regression variables and limits. View. Allows different aspects of the project to be viewed. This includes sample plots and sensitivityanalysis of the regression variables. Run. This performs actions on the project. For example, simulating all defined experiments or running a regression. Utilities. This allows additional information to be accessed or specified. This includes defining the project unit set, standard conditions, reservoir conditions, water properties and program options. A basic text editor is also provided in this...
