Introduction:
La Ceiba is the third largest city in Honduras and department head of Atlantis.

Culture and Customs in La Ceiba:Many Ceibeños are passionate about art, culture, and literature, in a city where more prevalent debauchery, nightlife, and carnivals, isn´t it? But they have good etiquettes.
Ceiba's beaches areanother very attractive, border the northern part of the city and just minutes away are the beaches of Peru and El Porvenir, well as those of Corozal and Sambo Creek where they settle the Garifunavillages that retain their language, Music and culture
Afro-Caribbean. The Garifunas are very sociable but is completely offensive to denigrate the Garifuna faith to promote another.
La Ceiba is known inCentral America for its fair Isidra, which is customary, takes place in late May, isn´t it? And culminates with the great carnival of friendship when the main street becomes a giant dance floor withbands on every corner where people enjoy the contagious rhythm of local music but this time not only for the happy party atmosphere in the city, the joyful spirit of the people prevails throughout theyear in the first street or "zona viva" with its clubs and bars which offers something for everyone.
During that week, the atmosphere and the hospitality of the people Ceibeña overflow with partiesholding each of the neighborhoods of the city. The celebration usually ends the day 24 with a grand parade. This year for the night had already finished the parade when started the carnival.
