How children learn about Prejudice?
Prejudice is important for children to understand it, because they can learn it in a good way, or in a bad way, that´s why people need to know how children learnabout it, this way they will teach them properly, making easier to stop prejudice and discrimination at once.
A recently research show us that children of 6 years old understand and react better toinstructions, but, when they arrive to age of 10, they learn to make their own decisions based on their experiences. Because of that way of learning, dads and teachers should work together to create abetter environment, this way whatever they learn when they are young (6 years old) will stay that way till they get old (since 10 years old).
Unfortunately children learn more wrong experiences thatgood experiences, as the phrase say “The bad things stick easier”. This happen because our society acts badly, we judge and discriminate people, being like that, how we can expect a change on ourchildren actions? However, even if a child learn good things about prejudice in their home, others children in school that may do not have the same education can teach to the child wrong things, makingharder to the family the elimination of discrimination ideas.

“Children of first grade who heard about the mean Blue group perceived them more negatively than those who received no tokens from the Bluegroup”
This example shows that the impact of instruction to the first grade students was powerful, because they act in the way people want them to act.
In conclusion, I will like to say that I am agreewith Sonia Kang about that is important to equip children with the ability to recognize discrimination, and do not be afraid of being judge because of having a closer relation with groups different...
