English is nowadays the common language for more than one billion people and 80% of all international phone calls are made in English. Today's employmentmarkets ask for people with highly flexible skills to be effective members of a competitive workforce and spoken English is essential on any CV! Surprised? I’m not.

Every year more than twomillion people take international examinations in English as a Foreign Language – EFL – and in English as a Second Language – ESL - . EFL and ESLexaminations are known all over the world and are recognized by universities, employers and national education authorities in many countries. They are almost always run by prestigious universities suchas The University of Michigan in the United States or The University of Cambridge in England.
