My name is Albert Terán Jr.; I was born in Laredo, Texas on March 03 1992. I currently live in Laredo, Texas but for the first fourteen years of my life I lived in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico,where I attended elementary school all trough the 8th grade. My parents are both Mexican, my father Alberto Teran Peña was born in CD. Victoria Tamaulipas, Mexico and my mother Maria Marina Teran wasborn in Dr. Arroyo Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Five years ago they acquired legal residence in the United States, allowing me to live and continue my school in Laredo, Texas. I am the youngest from the family,I have two older sisters. This past may I graduated from J.B. Alexander High School, I graduated as a junior, which made me graduate with honors and a 3.8 GPA. Accounting has always been my majorfirst choice, my dad and my sisters are both accountants, and my parents own an accountant firm in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, so ever since I was a little kid I’ve always been around the the world ofaccounting, also according to my interests and skills this major is the one that fits me the most. If it’s possible at the end of my career I will like to continue my studies going to graduate schoolpersuing a masters on accounting, and finally to achieve all my personal goals, I’ll try to have all the requirements as the State requires to obtain my license to be a Certified Public Accountant. Asin right now I am working hard to get scholarships to be able to help my parents with the cost of college. Also I want get a job in an accounting department so besides the fact that I would startearning my own money I can start getting experienced in my major’s work field, although I’ve always been around my parents business, the Mexico government and the USA one have different regulations, Iwould like to graduated from college with time experience so I can get a job that will fit my qualifications easily.
