Jacqueline Du Pre was born in 1945 in Oxford and grew up in Purley, Surrey (Great Britain). He was five when he first heard a cello on the radio and asked his father to buy him .Her mother, aprofessional pianist, bought it and last night wrote tunes with drawings on both touched scores the next morning.
