When she was 11 she won the prestigious Suggia.Her professional debut was at theWigmore hall of the British capital, at sixteen años.Jacqueline du Pre was the subject of many honors, including Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1976, honorary degrees from seven universitiesand the Musician of the Year Award in 1980.
