Biotechnology Position

In my own opinion all of this biotech are good, because as its definition says, is the use of organism to HELP the humans so how can be athing that is trying to help us bad. Also the biotechnology is a very important part of our life because we use it all the time, in the food, in the medicine etc... I support the development of becausetheir objective is to help the human kind and also our world to be a better place to live in. This helps are done by all the fields of biotechnology, and they all have the same objective. The use ofother microorganism to make products for humans[1] has exist since the ancient era when egyptians, romans, greeks and mesopotamia made bread, cheese, wines or any other type of traditional[2]biotechnology. With the development in the field of DNA and genetic engineer the biotechnology continues to develop and now, we can make incredible things with it such as medicines like the insulin[3] orspider silk industrial production.

In the first type of biotechnology, the red[4] biotechnology, is used by all of us, even those who critique it like orthodox from many religions. This Biotech savemany lives and its development in fields like the mother cell therapy is essential for the development of this field and with it many lives are gonna be save. This field is totally interested in makingour health better and that when we get sick its easier to cure us because in the XIX century, if those people got the flu they have to wait to it to pass alone but now, thanks to biotechnology we cancontrol the symptoms to be less annoying, using cough syrup, Dolex® or Vic Vapo Rub®. Another case that support my idea that red biotech is good is that without the use of biotech we couldn’t haveaccess to anti-venoms[5] and we will steal trying to take the poison out of the wound as people used to do.

What respects to green[6] biotechnology I agree the use of biotechnology in the plants...
