and electric fences between these roads and the sections. The roads are high up so anyone on a road could
seeover the fences into the sections. The map of the
island looks like the map of a zoo.

4 The Biosyn Corporation wants him to steal some
embryos from Isla Nublar. Biosyn will pay him

1 A computer, a walkie-talkie and a strange-looking pair
of goggles.
2 Hypsilophodontids: these are about the size of a horse.
Dilophosaurs: look like very large birds. They have long
necks, bodies with yellow and blackspots and bright
red crests on their heads. They are about 3m tall.
Triceratops: are the same colour as elephants. They
have three horns and huge bony crests on their heads.
Tyrannosaurus Rex: the adult one they see is 6m high. It
has red-brown skin, a huge square head and enormous
jaws and teeth. Apatosaurs: these have long necks.
Hadrosaurs: are smaller than apatosaurs. They also see
avelociraptor. This is dark yellow, with brown stripes
on its back. But it is not part of the tour. It should not
be there. Stegosaur: is a huge animal, about 6m long,
with big plates of bone along its back and a very small
head.
3 A young velociraptor.
4 Pieces of shell from a dinosaur egg.
5 The program only counted to see if any animals had
died. So it did not look for more than 238animals. It
was not counting to see if there were more animals.
This is because Wu thinks that the animals cannot
breed.
6 Grant is worried because he knows the animals can
breed. The pieces of shell are from a velociraptor’s egg.
There are now 37 raptors instead of 8, and they are
very dangerous animals.
