2nd ESO UNIT 3 REVISION

Reading
Summer in the UK

This summer I’m studying at a language school in Bristol. Bristol is a medium-sized city in the south west of England with a population of 400,000. It’s the cultural centre of the region and there are a lot of interesting things to see and do:there’s the Old Vic theatre, a modern art gallery called the Arnolfini, King’s Street with its rows of old houses, and Queen’s Square – one of the largest squares in England. My favourite is the Clifton Bridge on the Avon River and all the cafés and restaurants on the water. My school is in the centre, near the modern cathedral. My best friends at the school are Victor from Romania and Eliana fromPortugal. We always go out together. Victor is a little shy, but Eliana hardly ever stops talking! To make extra money, Victor works in a newsagent’s and Eliana in a pet shop. I work once a week in a florist’s. I had the same job in Sweden, where I come from. I like working because I can practise my English with the customers!
