Lab #1

Introduction:
In course of this project we will calculate the speed of the animals and compare it withmy full speed. Speed is the time traveled by an object, in this case an animal or person, in unit of time. We will also be demonstrating the calculations in a simple table and at the sametime, results in a bar graph that represents the speed of each animal and mine.
The activity was about that with two opportunities try to beat four of the best runners and fastest animals in the world;calculating the speed and representing it on a bar graph. Also showing the process in which we gather the result, changing my speed to a speed represented on m/s unit and then to km/h. Those results wereeasily gather; by using the speed formula the result of speed is dividing distance on top of time and then it would give you the speed on m/s; to change it you should multiplied to 3.6 to change it tokm/h so you can compared to the other animal speed.
Hypothesis:
I will run faster than a snake but not faster than a cheetah, horse or elephant. Objective:
1. Introduce the relative between motion and speed
2. Compare my speed with the speed of a cheetah, horse, elephant and snakes.
Steps of lab:
1. Use meterstick to mark off10 m.
2. Have your partner use the stopwatch to determine how fast you run 10m.
3. Divide 10m by your time in seconds to calculate your speed in m/s.
4. Multiply your answer by 3.6to determine your speed in km/h.
Data and Calculation:
Table of Data:
Table 1:
