“Recommendations for Great Presentations”

1.- Define your presentation in terms of the following structure:

* Background
* Objective
* Development (includes the main message)
*Conclusions

2.- Set just a few bullets that contain the main ideas.
Avoid overload the slides with too much text

3.-. Include as many graphics or images that allow a better understandingof the concepts.

4.- Take care of the script size, this should be not too small either not too large if possible do some tests on the projector.

5.- Try to avoid abbreviations, and if need beincluded, be sure to add meaning.

6.- If you include graphics be sure to include a title and units being measured.

7.- We suggest you not use transitions or special effects, as these canencourage the exposition.

8. If you include photos, check the correct resolution. If you include video, you must verify the operation.

9. - If you include information from outside sources, include thereference. Validate if the information is not restricted by copyright.

10.- At the time of presentation:

* Make your presentation stand, and as far as possible try to change the place and moveduring exposition not too much.
* Do not just read the content of the slides.
* Do not try to memorize your presentation, it takes away spontaneity and can be forgotten.
* Try usingdifferent tones of voice, giving clarity to your words.
* - Do not keep your eyes all the time on the screen and direct attention to the audience.

* - If you use a laser pointer, take care do notpoint to the audience
* For the time limit, ask for support to notify you a few minutes before the end of your presentation or the moderator will inform you.
* Practice your presentationseveral times to ensure that does not exceed the maximum time allowed.
