history of association football, known simply as football, is generally considered from 1863, year of foundation of The Football Association, although its origins, like those of other codes of football can be traced back several centuries in the past, particularly in the British Isles during the MiddleAges. [1] [2] Although there were commonalities between different ball games that were developed from the third century C. and modern football, [1] the sport as we know it today has its origins in the British Isles [2]. 
The first codes that gave rise to British soccer association is characterized by its lack of organization and extreme violence.
