HOW TO MAKE A DELICIOUS CHICHA
Origins of chicha:
When the Incas had a festival, they enjoyed large amounts of their ¨chicha¨ beer. Indigenous communities in Latin America and in our country stillmake chichi, although it is now usually make with flour made from dry maize called ¨jora¨, or there are chicha of chonta, yucca or rice.
How to make a delicious chicha?
INGREDIENTS
* 1cup of white rice (normal rice)
* 1 cup of whole milk
* 1 cup of condensed milk
* 1 cup of evaporated milk
* Half (1/2) teaspoon of vanilla essence
* 5 teaspoons of sugar.
* Acinnamon stick
* A pinch of salt
PREPARATION
* Wash the rice and leave it to soak from one day to another day with two cups of water.
* The next day for the preparation, drain therice, put the rice in a saucepan with the cinnamon and seven cups of water.
* Cook during 35 minutes, to cook at a slow heat
* Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
* Then, liquidize therice with the sugar, the milks, salt and vanilla.
* Cool very well in the refrigerator or serve with small pieces of ice
* Finally, put a small spout of condensed milk.
INGREDIENTES:
1Taza de Arroz blanco(normal, el de toda la vida)
1 Taza de Leche completa
1 Taza de Leche condensada
1 Taza de leche evaporada
1/2 cdta de esencia de Vainilla
5 cdas de Azúcar ( más o menoscantidad si la desea más o menos dulce)
1 rama de Canela
Una pizca de sal
MODO DE PREPARACIÓN:
Lave bien el arroz y colóquelo en remojo de un día para otro junto con dos tazas de Agua. Al díasiguiente para la Preparación, escúrralo y colóquelo en una cazuela con la rama de canela más siete tazas de agua y cocine durante unos 35 min. apróx. a fuego medio, retire del fuego y deje que seenfríe, luego lícuelo con el azúcar, las leches, sal y vainilla. Deje enfriar bien en la refrigeradora y sirva con Hielo picadito, y espolvoree canela al momento de servir si le apetece, a los niños...
