When archeologists discover new evidence of our ancestors like fossils, relics or geoglyphs. they ask themselves many questions like: what are these geoglyphs? How old are them? Why are theythere? and, what was the purpose of them? When archeologists fund this Lines in the dessert of Nazca, Peru, they were very eager to dismantle the real purpose of these lines. And out of these fourquestions archeologists and scientists only have the answer to one of them. That’s why the Nazca lines are so intriguing to many people, not just archeologist and scientists. People all over the worldcome to visit the lines, and the only way you can see them is in the air. Visitors have to get on a helicopter and an in approximately 400 feet above the sea level. Nazca lines are not just an evidenceof our ancentors, but they are lines with straight edges and curving to make shapes and figures up to 890 foot long.

Archeologists can only guess the amount of years the lines have been, some say2200 BC and others 1700 AD. Either way it’s a very long time, so the only question that comes into mind is, how they have preserved and are almost in perfect condition. Well the answer is real simplebelieve it or not. The Nazca Lines are located in the driest dessert in the planet earth, and that’s why it only rains about 20 to 30 minutes a year. And that’s why it has been so easy for the linesto still be here. And these lines are not in small scale, at all. For example the monkey, that its almost 90 meters long, with a tail that its perfectly rolled in circles and has hands withflawless symmetric fingers. The spider with 46 meters of longititude shows absolute similarity to a real spider. And the largest figure of these amazing geoglyphs is the pelican, its about 285 meters long,almost three and a half football fields. And the most mysterious one would have to be the “astronaut” and almost 30 meters long. this figure was drawn with round eyes, boots a belt and a helmet. And...
