Possessive pronouns
Explanation
Possessive Pronouns: mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, yours, theirs.
These are used to describe possession and do not confuse with possessive adjectives.Both refer to possession but the possessive pronouns do not need a noun after them.

To understand these pronouns it is important to review the pronouns that we already know.

Uses
* Affirmative:
Structure: Subject + verb + complement + Possessive Pronoun.
a. This belongs to me.It's mine.
b. I play tennis with a friend of mine.
c. Bill went to the game with a friend of his.
d. Sally and I had a big party with some friends of ours.
* Negative:Structure: Subject + Verb (Not) + Complement + Possessive Pronoun.
a. That is my problem, not yours.
* Interrogative:
Structure: Question Tag + Subject + verb + Possessive Pronoun + Complement.a. Is this book yours.
Examples:
* Mine
His boat is faster than mine. 
* Our
Whose book is on our desk?
* His
His hair is longer than hers.
* Her
I saw her bookon your table.
* Their
My dog is better than their dog.
* Yours
This is my car and that is yours.

Reflexive pronouns
Explanation
We use the reflexive pronouns to indicate that the person whorealizes the action of the verb is the same person who receives the action.

* Affirmative:
