Poverty in Africa
Africa is the continent most beautiful for its breathtaking scenery, wildlife, flora and exotic animals. It is also the venue for the sport's biggest event, but certainlyfew care about the issues affecting the people of this continent, surrounded by poverty. The African reality is dramatic, more than three hundred million people live on less than a dollar a day, thirtymillion children under five are malnourished and 43% of the population lacks safe drinking water. Besides being the world's poorest region, suffers the consequences of having the highest rates ofinfection of AIDS, life expectancy has been reduced from 49 to 46 years of life to-tail of this disease. Africa has 70% of AIDS cases in the world with over 2.2 million deaths per year.
HIV / AIDS aserious problem in the younger demographic and that attacks the national economic structure: people.
Another major problem is water scarcity, a situation compounded by severe drought and watermismanagement. The drought brought many consequences for the people, how famines and diseases that affect millions of every day people in Africa.
