middle adulthood

This stage is an especially prone to look back and see what has become of the dreams, hopes and past projects, it is an era which warns of aphysical decline in marital satisfaction that reaches lower levels. It is also a time of great productivity, especially in intellectual and artistic sphere, and isdefinitely the period when the full self-realization is achieved.

Late adulthood

It is the last period before senescence, during which the person experiencesthe decline of the body and the way to the old status. Today this stage would be from 65, when retirement begins productive life until 75 years or so.

Butbeyond the different stages of adulthood identified (early, middle and late), adults of today are not like those of a few decades ago, being able to differentiateclearly between traditional adults (children of the nineteenth century)

Among its features are representative:

Adults or traditional, are conservative, deny thechanges, try to educate as educated and can fall into authoritarianism, are the parents predictable and therefore their children know what is expected of them andcan be identified or rebel against this adult.

unsafe or Adults: they will not be rigid, but do not want to leave to set limits, expressed strongcontradictions, they question what they do, seek professional help books, talk to their children and seek stability.

Adults and adolescents: age adults but are notresponsible for the new generations, are immersed in teen culture, refuse to set limits, argue with their children at the same level, but must be for good communication.
