The call of Moses to God was something that took many years. First, is the birth of Moses as a free man. Moses was educated in a higher class than that of his real family. At this time, the people of Israel were slaves. Moses was a stable man. He got married and began to form a family. At this point, he receives his calling from God. Moses took care of goats when he received the calling. At thistime, he has moved away from his brothers. This makes me think that God did not have a certain time or place to call upon Moses in this case. I think this because when Moses was called he had already created a family. God chose Moses because he was a free man so he knew was liberty felt like. Moses doubted the mission that God had prepared for him. It was to stabilize the relationship betweenfather and son.
Many times people doubt the mission that God give us to live. However, the faith given by God is what gives us strength to continue to move forward. He wanted the people of Israel to be free. But, to liberate the people it would take many years. The Israelis felt comfortable being slaves and only felt sorry for themselves. Until the Israelis realized that they were slaves, theprocess for liberation would not begin. The first thing that needs to be liberated is the mind. They realized that they were being used by Egypt. God heard their prayers and began to prepare the process for liberation and began to prepare for the election of a leader. The leader would come from within the community. They chose Moses because he gone through different situations in his life. It allowshim to have ideas that were clearer than many of his brother. Living as a free man, Moses knew what it felt like to enjoy some of the privileges that the Israelis did not have at the time. This put him in position to become a leader. Moses had to remove his doubts because they would not permit or see the mission that God had given him. God gave him strength and faith to stop in front of hisbrothers and explained that God was the God of Israel. God had heard them. Now that the Israelis had separated themselves from the promise god had made to them, they had begun to believe in another God. Now, the job of Moses consists of liberating all of his brothers from their thoughts. They did not agree with God. Moses had to motivate the people who were tired of working. God wanted total liberationof Israel. It is for that reason that Israel must confront their problems of politics and education. When one speaks about liberation they save themselves and liberate themselves. In the case of Moses, it was clear that he always put his heart into the spiritual and material work. At the same time, the liberation of his brothers’ takes many years to formalize the idea that god was creating anation. It was a nation that would be created would be one with laws that could not be destroyed. Personally, I have been chosen to live in very difficult time where I have forgotten the way to God. Along the way, I have been searching for my mission as a human being. I paid attention to material things and forgot about my spiritual life. It felt as though everything was negative. I began to ask Godwhy this has happened to me. I felt like a was missing something and did not know what it was. I began to visit a Methodist church where I made a friend.
The problem was that I did not have a degree to get my masters in divinity. I felt very sad and blamed myself for not having prepared earlier when I had the chance. Therefore, I began to go to school while I work at my job. After quite some time,I left the university and told myself that I was too old for it. I asked myself why I would want to do something when I was old when I should have done it when I was young. A lot of time passed. I spent my time reading books of personal motivation stories.
