This book, Part 5 – “Specialized Vessels and Services”, specifies the requirements for each vessel intended to operate for special service. Since the requirements for the followingseven types of vessel are identical to those requirements in the Rules for Building and classing Steel Vessels, the following cross-reference table is provided, instead of duplication of the text herein:
