Report Of Javert

Javert- Les miserables.

Introduction:

The aim of this report is to express my point of view of the film and the book of Les Miserables based on the book and the film, Les miserables written byVictor Hugo and the film is directed by Bille August.
Javert is the antagonist of the novel, the antagonist of Jean Valjean. The occupation of Javert is a prision guard and later a policeman.Javert and his hatred of Jean Valjean:

When Jean Valjean was in prision, Javert was the guard. After living prision Valjean starts again his life, Javert recalls Valjean almost instantly after meetinghim again in the city.
Valjean recognized Javert and immediately denounced as an ex-convict, later Javert is called to the court to help testify against the "real" Valjean.

Javert and Fantine(mother of cosette):

Javert arrested Fantine, she was a prostitute with one daughter, called cosette. The cause of her arrest was because she hit a man to defend himself, Javert saw the scene andimmediately took her to a cell in prison, after that Valjean went to the prision to free Fantine. She was so ill and he star to care her.

Javert and the trap with Marius:

The trap with Mariusconsisted in following the young man who goes to see Cosette to her house and Javert follow the young man to know where Jean Valjean was living.
Later Javert is captured by Marius and he would be prosecutedand killed but Jean Valjean saves his life by pulling a shot into the sky and letting it escape from that place.

Javert's suicide:

For the first time in his life, Javert is faced with thesituation where he cannot act lawfully without acting immorally. Unable to find a solution to this dilemma, and horrified at the sudden realization that Valjean was simultaneously a criminal and a goodperson, Javert decides to resolve the dissonance by removing himself, in other words committing suicide.
