ROBIN WILLIAMS
The comedian was born on July 21, 1951 in the city of Chicago, where he lived
until 16 years of age to move to California, during which time his interest in theater
and acting wasborn, leaving his intention to study something related with politics.
After studying returns to San Francisco and enter into a comedy workshop. His first
steps were performing in the street and beganworking in nightclubs. He shot to
fame through a character in a television series, Happy Days.
In the theater achieved great success with the play "Waiting for Godot". Member of
numerous humanitarianorganizations. Forbes magazine proclaimed him the
highest paid American actor, opposite Harrison Ford. He married the Italian dancer
Valeria Velardi in 1985 were parents of Zachary. After her divorce shemarried a
second time with Marsha Graces with whom he had his two sons Cody and Zelda.
In March 2008, his wife filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
On August 9, 2006, he went into arehabilitation center (located in Newberg,
Oregon), admitted he was an alcoholic. He was hospitalized in March 2009 for
heart problems. He underwent surgery to replace his aortic valve. The surgery wassuccessfully completed the March 13, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Robin Williams was found dead at his home in Tiburon, Marin County, California,
on August 11, 2014. His representative reported thathe suffered a "severe
depression". The actor spent eight years without having touched a drop of alcohol
or drugs have approached after fall again in 2006 and was forced to enlist the help
ofexperts.
