Russian Revoultion
At first Russia was a backward country with a peasant society, the innovations of the 2nd industrial revolution helped a bit russia to develop his industry.
When tsarwas crowned in 1896 everybody think good about it, but when he showed that he was extremely absolutist evereyone turned against him execpt army that was well paid with him, he wasted money in army forhis protection, in 1905 a court of 200,000 unarmed people mostly workers, started to say that they wanted better conditions in work and better salaries, the tsar awnesered them with the bloody Sundayof the 1905 revolution in which 45,000 of them were killed.
This vandalic acts of the tsar over his people led a wave of strikes that extended throug all Russia.
The tsar, then, created Duma, aparliament, his main objective was to give some representation to working class the one that gave more problems, but its unic chamber was used to criticize the way the tsar governed, when the tsarnoticed this, he destroyed Duma in 1912.
Then tsar named his prime minister to govern, seing that noone liked him, his prime inister was Stolypin, he carried some reforms that favoured workers such asincreasing salaries and reducin working hours to 8.
Stolypin was assasinated in 1911 and to the power came an strange man called Rasputin, a siberian monk, that was told that he had healing powers,noone liked this guy so everyone critisied governing way of tsar (again). But there was another problem, in 1914, Russia was loosing all battles in war so tsar got the power to administrate army, bigmistake, he entered into Russo-Japanesse war convinced he could win and he lost. His aouthoritarian power was in the floor so then a union of soviets called Bolsheviks appeared to light to make arevolution against tsar. The tsarist government wasn’t in his 100% faculties so he lost the guerrilla, and tsar very afraid abdicated, then provisional government took place, Alexandr Kerensky, leader of...
