Slavery in the United States

Well, the slavery in the United States began because slaves were the primary source for labor in the New World.  Slavery begun almost as soon as the English colony ofVirginia began to be settled, slavery in the United States was actually not forbidden, it existed as a legal institution from the early colonial period as a system under which people were treated asproperty to be bought as well as sold by their owner, and they were forced to work and do whatever the owner wanted them to do, and most of the female and children were forced to provide sex or labor.They were bought and sold and intimidated as well.
The colonists traded rum with Africa in exchange for slaves and it was called the triangle trade. This cruel practice soon spreaded to the north,particularly New York and Connecticut but it was less in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, two colonies established for religious reasons, and which for just such reasons opposed slavery.
Most of theAfrican slaves did not know when or if freedom would come one day at the end. The Africans lived a very difficult, cruel and really hard life and the white men did not care about the African slave’slife, the white men were only worried about their labor and services as well.

The African Americans were really skilled workers and also many African Americans tried to change their religion toChristian just because the white men were not supposed to enslave Christians, but they did not really care about that, so they did it anyway. Some African Americans became half free, which meant that theycould own their own territory or land. A really important thing was that white people didn’t realize about the intelligence of the African Americans because they were truly smart and clever. There wasnot an equal treatment of the African Americans and white slaves because they were both treated really bad, but the Africans American slaves were treated a lot worse compared with the white slaves....
