Is your teen son or daughter safe enough when he or she goes out with friends? It is not a secret that between ages of 15 and 21, teens are inthe will of trying new things and feeling new stuff. Newspapers, magazines and even new TV shows promote the use of drugs and our kids are victims of it.
Firstly, we should tell our kids about harmsand consequences that drug addiction can bring to their life. This may help them create a negative response to consuming them.
We should forget about telling them to say no, some studies made bypsychologists from the state of Florida, showed that it is a better idea not to show a violent negative answer, but to, in a nicer way, avoid consuming drugs giving a positive response. For example saying“I’ve been smoking the whole day, I want no more cigars.” If someone offers them a cigarette or, “I drank yesterday, I wouldn’t like to drink two days in a row.” If someone offers them alcohol andexplaining them that if a friend wants them drinking, smoking or consuming drugs, it is because they want to drag them down to their state. This will help them to stay away from drugs.

Like in The Church Of Jesus Of The LatterDay Saints where none of their members , following a law of God called the Word of Wisdom, consume alcohol, tobacco or even tea and coffee because they may contain caffeine which is also a harmfuldrug for our body. This would absolutely help them avoid using drugs.
In conclusion, there are many ways of keeping our kids clean of drugs, it is just that we are so desperate with the idea of thatthere is drug everywhere and our kids are not safe that it is hard to see the solutions when they are just right in front of us. Just as the 35th President of the United States John Fitzgerald Kennedy...
