The Devil And Miss Prym

I recently read a very interesting book which was written by one of my favorite authors; his name is Paulo Coelho. His stories really caught my attention;I usually spend just a couple of hours reading his books because I always want to know what happens next. The book title is: ".The Devil and Miss Prym”. Asalmost all of his books this one is very spiritual and talks about people's feelings and behavior on a different perspective. The book is basically based onthe fight between the good and bad.

The story starts with a man who used be a good man until everything changed. His wife and daughters were murderedby some kidnappers. He lost everything and also changed his way to see life, the years passed by and all that he wanted was to answer this question "are weall bad"?. So he planned a kind of experiment on a small town named Visco, he wanted someone to commit a crime in order to answer his question. So heoffered the villagers 10 bars of gold if in one week there was a murder in town. He gave this information to the youngest person in Visco whose name was ChantalPrym. It was her who explained to the villagers what the man offered. In the book Paulo describes the feelings, and thoughts of some of the Visco'sresidents but mainly Chantal´s and the man´s. there was a continuous battle between their devil and their angel.

Finally the villagers were willing to committhe crime, but Chantal Prym convinced them, that murder was not justified. In general terms I found this book very entertaining, I liked it very much.
