R: Did anyone sometime tell you something that makes you who you are now?
N: Yes, my father told me never to criticizesomeone because that persona may not have the same advantages that i did.

R: Why did you go to east?
N: Because I wanted to learn the bond business

R: Have you already known Tom before?
N:Yes, actually I had known Tom in college when we were younger.

R: Why were you confused when you left Toms and Daisy’s home?
N: I wasn’t just confused; I was also disgusted, because it looked likeDaisy would have to run out of the house with her baby and because Tom had a woman in New York

R: Why were you shocked at Tom’s lie?
N: Because Catherine told me that he hates being married withDaisy but they couldn’t divorce because she was a catholic and she doesn’t believe in that. Daisy is not a catholic!

R: Why did you think that you were different from most other guests at Gatsby’sparty?
N: Because I was invited and also received an invitation. Most of the other guest just went.

R: What did you think the young Englishmen were trying to do?
N: I think they were trying tosell something since they were aware of the easy money that surrounded them.

R: What did you found absurd about Gatsby?
N: He was a young man over thirty and spoke in a really formal way; it was alittle bit weird.

R: What did you heard about Jordan?
N: I heard that she had cheated in her golf tournament; actually I think that’s true.

R: How are you different from Jordan?
N: She wasreally dishonest. She used dishonesty to get what she wants.

R: Why did you think Gatsby told you about his life?
N: Well, I think he did because he didn’t want me to believe everything people tellabout him.

R: Why didn’t you believe that Gatsby’s background was true?
N: Because he started telling me about everything. He told me thing about his wealthy life I just tried not to laugh. I...
