Babylon
The historical site of Babylon is located on the western bank of the Euphrates River. Its famous Tower of Babel rose above the city, and itshanging gardens are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Once the capital city of ancient Mesopotamia, Babylon is one of the most interesting historical sites in the world today. About 90miles from Baghdad, you will find that this ancient city has access to what was crucially considered as the life source for the ancient kingdoms, the rivers Tigris and the Euphrates.
The hanginggardens of Babylon built by the great ruler Nebuchadnezzar as a representation of his undying love for his wife. It was also during Nebuchadnezzar’s time that Babylon became one of the mostbeautiful ancient cities in the world.
Hatra
Hatra is an archaeological site located about 180 miles north of Baghdad. It was once the center of trade and religion for the Parthian Empire during thefirst and second centuries B.C. Hatra remains a major historical place in Iraq because it the the best preserved of all the Parthian sites in Iraq, and it was the first Arab capital. Hatra wasdesignated an UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains an informative example of a circular fortified city. Hatra is now the mixture of Eastern architecture with Greek and Roman influence.

Amosque is a place of worship for followers of Islam. A "place of worship" or "prostration in prayer meaning "to bow down in prayer" or "worship",
Quba Mosque is the first mosque in history, andmosques have developed significantly since Quba mosque. Many mosques have elaborated domes, minarets, and prayer halls. Mosques originated on the Arabian Peninsula, but are now found in allinhabited continents. The mosque serves as a place where Muslims can come together for salah (prayer) as well as a center for information, education, and dispute settlement. The imam leads the prayer.
