Purpose:
To illustrate the richness of nonverbal communication in conveying a variety of meanings.
Instructions:
1. Choose a partner.

Verbal message: I’d like to go with you this weekend.
Context: You frequently go away with eachother, this is just routine, another weekend.

Context: I don’t really want to go; I’m too tired, and I sure hope you don’t want to go.
