How does nirds fly?

The shape of there wings generates a lift just like an airplanes wings. When the flapping wings generates a thrust pointed down and behind the bird,thristing up and down, this2 makes possible that birds can fly.

Bones System
.Birds skeleton had developed into a lightweight,yet strong,frame other parts like the vertebrate of the back have fused (joined )giving the frame more streght.,they have a very flexible neck , the rest of there skeleton isn’t flexible.birds have breastbone or sternum that gives protection to the internal organs and givessupport to the muscle to be able to fly. The heaviest and the strongest bone is the coracoid, together with the ribs it holds the sternum and stiffed rigid the back bone , apart of the flight musclesthat contract.
Muscles System
The largest muscle in birds is the pectoral muscles, only the pectoral muscle are the fiveth of all the birds weight,they are attached to the long wing bone.,when theycontract during the flight the wings are pulled down and a smaller muscles called supracoracoideus contract during the flight and pulled the wings up.
Digestive System
Birds doesnt have teeth sothe digestive system does the teeths work and crush the food into smaller pieces and be able to get the foods energy. A digestive tubeis extend trought the mouth into all the body until getting intoan opening called the cloaca. The tube is divided into the throat, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.

Some birds, such as pigeons, doves, and hawks, have a portion of theiresophagus enlarged to form a storage pouch called a crop. The crop allows birds to feed quickly and digest its meal later in safety.
Every bird stomach is divided into 2
1.proventriculus, secretesstrong digestive juices,(some birds are strong enough to eat bones)
2. the gizzard, has strong muscular walls that act like teeth to grind foods. (birds often swallow small rocks that get trapped in...
