UNEMPLOYMENT IN MEXICO

One of the main problems in Mexico is the unemployment.
Unemployment means: “the state of being unemployed”, in other words it means not having a job.
For exampleaccording to the Index Mundi Mexico’s unemployment rate is of 5.2% and that’s very bad.
“The unemployment rate can be defined as the number of people actively looking for a job as a percentage of thelabor force”.

According to the “Demotix” In Mexico City, “about 3,000 people live on the streets. Most of them are elderly people, and 10% approximately are children under 12 years”. According to theInstitute of Assistance and Social Integration, “more than 40% consume any illegal or addictive substance”. That’s all cause of the unemployment in Mexico, if all of those persons would have a jobnothing of this would happen.
Many people have chosen to work informally, putting their business on city sidewalks. Others have opted for low-paid temporary jobs, and even for offenses that provideincome. “Nationally, 25.7 million people work informally. In the last year, at least 28 thousand inhabitants of the capital lost their jobs”.

Unemployment becomes a very big problem later in lifebecause if you don’t have a job you wont have money, and if you don’t have money there are very few options in life. You can steel money and become a delinquent and end in jail, you can die because youdon’t have food or a home, or you can become a drug dealer because that’s the best way to win money.

In conclusion unemployment not only in Mexico, unemployment in the world is one of the worstproblems that we have to solve. Millions of people die because of unemployment and in Mexico unemployment is one of the main problems. Unemployment is very high and that’s why according to “El siglode Gorrion” there are more than 72 million poor people in Mexico that is more than the half of the population in Mexico.
