El VPH generalmente se transmitemediante el contacto directo de la piel con piel y con más frecuencia durante el contacto genital con penetración (relaciones sexuales vaginales o anales).

* HPV infection is transmitted from one person to another throughsexual contactinvolving the anus, mouth or vagina. You can spread warts even if they see them.
You may not see the warts for at least 6 weeks to 6 months after becoming infected. You may not notice them for years.
Notall people who have been in contact with the HPV virus and genital warts will develop them.
You are more likely to get genital warts and disseminate themquickly if:
Has multiple sexual partners.Know if someone has had sex had a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
Are sexually active at an early age.
Consume alcohol and snuff.
