* A deviating from the right path or usual course of action; mental disorder, especially of a minor or temporary nature.

* Abstinence – noun
* The giving up of certain pleasures.
* Syn: abnegation, avoidance,chastity, forbearance, fasting
* Ant: excess, indulgence, revelry
* Abstract – adjective
* Theorical, not applied or practical; not concrete; hard to understand (as noun it means “a summary”).
* Syn: abstruse, complex, deep, hypothetical, ideal, indefinite
* Ant: actual, concrete, factual, material
* Acclaim – noun
* Loud applause; approval (when used as averb, it means “to applause; to praise”)
* Syn: acclamation, acknowledgement, approbation, celebration
* Ant: criticism, disapproval
* Acquiesce - verb
* To agree the conclusion or arrangements of others; to give consent by keeping silent.
* Syn: accede, accept, accommodate, adapt
* Ant: disagree, dissent, object
* Admonish – verb
* To adviseagainst something; to scold gently.

* Advocate – verb
