“Car accidents caused by teenagers”
According to previous researches more than 50% of teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 years old have caused a car accident during their first months ofdriving. Teenager drivers are frequently blamed for being immature when driving a vehicle. The truth is that psychologists have proven that the human brain does not develop completely until the age of 25,specially the brain part that makes people perceive fear and danger. The causes and effects of car accidents caused by teenagers do not affect only them but everyone around, this is the reason why somecountries want to cancel the drivers’ license for minors.
Since the human brain development process takes its time teenagers and young adults sometimes tent to act as adults but at the same time aschildren. This behavior is somehow described as immatureness and is one of the greatest causes of car accidents in the world. Teenagers get their drivers license usually at the age of 16. After theyhave approved the exam at the academy they feel capable of driving as any other experienced driver, usually when they think like this they don’t realize of the dangers that surround them and theserious responsibility they have as drivers. For this reason teenagers sometimes try to imitate movie drivers or try to do a movie maneuver that obviously they are not capable and as a consequence theycrash against another car or when they try to do a drift they explode a tire or end in baranco. This affects society making the streets dangerous for the people.
Car accidents are also caused byteenagers when they consume high levels of alcohol and drive drunk, putting themselves and the rest of the people driving in the streets in danger of dying. When a person consumes too much alcohol he or sheloses control of his impulses also the person does not think wisely and sometimes react in desperate non rational ways.
