2. How does Top Management show its support of Six Sigma Plus? Do you believe than an adequate structure exists to continue building and sustaining the quality effort at Honeywell for theforeseeable future?
The support of Top Management was crucial for the successful implementation of Six Sigma Plus in Honeywell. Without their support and commitment it would have not been possible.
Leadersand Top Management were convinced that Six Sigma was a wonderful approach and that keeping it was essential to the improvement and growth of the new Honeywell. Top managers were certain that itsimplementation will bring a many benefits to the company as it did to AlliedSignal and they were able to transmit this confidence to the employees. When leaders believe in what they are doing, employeeswill automatically, which was essential to get the process going
However, not only their commitment was important they were dedicated to train their employees from all different levels and areas of thecompany in Six Sigma Plus. Employees were given all the necessary tools and training so they could be able to understand what they were doing. Six Sigma Plus is applied to all administrative functionsof the company and everyone is involved.
Six Sigma Plus has very strong foundations and it is part of the corporate culture of the company, it is deeply rooted and because of that it will continueto bring benefits to the company and value to the customers for years to come.

3. What are the unique features of Six Sigma Plus that are no part of the standard Six Sigma Process discussed inearlier chapters?
In my opinion Six Sigma plus is more customer-driven whereas Six Sigma is more cost-driven. Six Sigma Plus has the added feature of quality concepts and focus in customer value addedactivities.
