Alcohol Experiences

Introduction
I think Newman University should create a general coursecalled “Alcohol experiences“ and allow a place or area where students can drink. In theory, Newman University needs a general education course foralcohol because many students who come to college, mostly freshmen students, make a big deal out of alcohol. They try to find a way to buy alcohol,get wasted, and go crazy every weekend. This course would help students to see alcohol as something more natural. The first step in implementingthis course is to have it as a general education course, so that way all students have to take it. A second step, seeing how this course influences onstudents, will be to have a place on campus where students can drink during the weekends, of course, if students are 21 years old or more. Anotherstep could be to have another education course in Newman where Senior year students share their experiences with other students . Senior studentswill meet in a class and will discuss once per week. It will be also one credit hour as well. In other words, Newman should start these coursesnext Spring semester 2013 and see how it impacts or influences in students perspective of Alcohol. If these courses have good influences in students,Newman should create or allow a place on campus for Fall 2013 where students are allowed to drink alcohol if they are 21 years old or more.
