2. INTRODUCTION

During the 20th century the society all over the world tended to use energies such us petrol, oil, or natural gas. Not manyyears later, however, various scientists realized that the sources which fed these energies were not inexhaustible; the quantity of these sources actually was becoming smaller meanwhile the human being produced energy from them. The problem was not that this sources did not renew, cause they actually did, (though slowly) the real problem was that the voracity of human beings was consuming this sourcesin such a rapid way that the sources were not able to regenerate. As a consequence of this, scientists came up with the conclusion that they have to act as faster as they could; when they realized of this they found themselves between to paths, they could ask humanity to stop consuming in such an extreme way or on the other side they could suggest the production of new energy sources. The firstpath did not have a lot of sense since all scientists knew that it was almost impossible to stop people consumption as energies where part of their lives. Consequently only one path was remaining, they had to start thinking about new ways of producing energy; however in order to avoid this situation again they decided to use as sources things which could be renewed rapidly and things whose use didnot damaged the environment. The task was not easy, in fact at that time this idea was seeing as something remote and distant, however the necessity was stronger enough to leave this idea behind; the alternative energies should be a reality cause if not, when the classic energy sources disappeared, there would be no alternative energy to them. It was all really clear; the alternative energies hadto born quickly.

3. DEVELOPMENT
3.1 WHAT ARE ALTERNATIVE ENERGIES?
Alternative energies are describes as those energy sources raised as alternatives to the classic ones. However in most cases this term is frequently associated to renewable energy as this type of energies are actually the ones which have born during recent years. Despite this, if we had to use an appropriate definition toalternative energies the most accurate one would describe this sources of energy as the ones which does not involve the burning of fossil fuels, including not only the renewable energies but also nuclear and hydroelectric energy. During the industrial revolution, fossil fuels were used as the unique source of energy although nowadays this energy source have two main problems; in one side, they arefinite sources that will surely disappear in a short period of time; in the other side, the burning of this fossil fuels releases large amounts of CO2 which are said to be the main cause of global warning. As a consequence of this, alternative energies began to be used during recent years as they had none of these problems.
3.2 TYPES OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGIES
Within alternative energies we candifferentiate mainly three groups:
Inexhaustible energy
Refers to the ones whose sources are found in great quantity inside the environment and that are able to regenerate themselves, thus human beings cannot waste them. Examples of it are:
Solar energy: The solar energy can be described as the energy obtained from the capture of light and heat emitted by the sun....
