Agradecemos a Dios por bendecirnos e iluminar este camino que estamos
culminando.
A nuestros padres por haber hecho posible el logro de todas las metas propuestas
en esta etapa de formación profesional, con su amor y apoyo incondicional.

valioso aporte académico para la elaboración de este trabajo.

RESUMEN

El presente trabajo se realizó con el propósito de diagnosticar financieramente el
sector Metalmecánico en el municipio de Dosquebradas; se solicitó la base de
datos a la Cámara de Comercio de Dosquebradas, de la cual se extrajeron ocho
empresas que contaban con los estados financieros decuatro o cinco años
registrados en la Superintendencia de Sociedades y de estos se realizó el análisis
financiero.

A cada empresa se le realizo el análisis vertical y horizontal del balance general y
estado de resultados del 2008 al 2012 o 2009 al 2012 según la información
registrada por las empresas, adicional se calcularon las razones financieras, el
EVA, Costo de Capital y Flujo de Caja Libre, loque permite evaluar el
comportamiento de cada empresa en los periodos estudiados y determinar las
debilidades y fortalezas que poseen.

Se pretende que este estudio sirva de apoyo al sector Metalmecánico y de esta
manera contribuir al desarrollo del municipio mediante recomendaciones que
propenden a la optimización de los recursos utilizados para la actividad, logrando
mayor crecimiento de lasempresas ya estructuradas.

ABSTRACT

This study was conducted in order to diagnose financially the metalworking
industry in Dosquebradas; database of Dosquebradas Comerce Chamber, of
which eight companies had the financial statements of four or five years registered
with the Superintendence of Corporations and financial analysis of these was
performed extracted was requested.

Each companywill realize the vertical and horizontal analysis of the balance sheet
and income statement for the 2008 to 2012 or 2009 to 2012 according to the
information recorded by the companies, additional financial ratios were calculated,
EVA, and Cost of Capital Flow Free Cash, which allows evaluating the
performance of each company in the study period and determine the strengths and
weaknesses theypossess.

It is intended that this study will support the metalworking sector and thus
contribute to the development of the town through recommendations which
promote the optimization of the resources used for the activity, achieving greater
growth of the structured companies.
