Introducción
Un vehículo eléctrico es un vehículo de combustible alternativo impulsado por uno o más motores eléctricos. La tracción puede ser proporcionada por ruedas o hélices impulsadas por motores rotativos, o en otros casos utilizar otro tipo de motores norotativos, como los motores lineales, los motores inerciales, o aplicaciones del magnetismo como fuente de propulsión, como es el caso de los trenes de levitación magnética.
