In this essay I will be talking about the war between Android and Apple. About the differences and similarities of each. What applications come included with the phone? Whichis easier to handle? Which is more popular among the consumer? Which has more applications? Which of the two has a better operating system? Which of the two has better storage? Which of the two hasmore downloading options? Finally my view and opinion on the subject.

We already know that Apple and Android are the two operating most popular and recognized phone brands worldwide. They are a“Super Smart Phones”. One of the similarities the have is that you can install different applications. Also depending on your need or if you are a software developer you can also create them. Both havetouch screen displays and vibrant colors. Obviously you can call and receive calls; you can also send and receive text messages. You can choose what plan you would like your phone to have. Intergradedthey have calendars, diaries, notes, alarm clock, photo gallery, videos etcetera. They can also browse the web like a computer. You can also customize your own code so that your phones contents areprivate.

The difference between the phones is that Apple only has one processor and Android has many. To find the applications Apple has the App Store and Android has the Market. Android is abit complicated to understand Apple is a bit simpler. Preferred by buyers is the iPhone, it’s the platform of choice for users who will buy a smartphone. Apple is the undisputed king with a number ofnearly 300,000 applications, but Android is second with about 130,000. These figures mean that while Apple doubled the range of applications in the App Store, Google multiplied theirs by 6 in theAndroid Market.
