The first cathedralof Bethesda by the Sea was built in 1889 but was the first Protestant church in southeast Florida. The second cathedral was built in 1894 and still continues to exist but as a private residency inNorth Lake Trail. The Gothic structure was built in 1925, thousands of spectators gather at this Cathedral for reflection. This cathedral is located between Barton Avenue and South Country Rd East Pointlocation is excellent for the eyes of the spectators, Also north of the property has an excellent view of the golf course, in the east has an excellent sea view where makes this property unique. Thelocation of this property helps the flow of traffic that is located between two streets, where the viewer can appreciate the architecture; the space structure allows traffic to flow on both streetswithout problem. The material used in the cathedral was brick, concrete and stone. But more concrete was used in this work. At the entrance of the cathedral is a bow, typically used in Gothic stylecathedrals. At the main entrance of the cathedral where this arc, we see some monuments or figures. In them is a Christ above the entrance and sides we see four angels. If you look into the eyes of theChrist figures facing the angels that are placed below, and the angels are seen among themselves. This cathedral is made of arch, with a structure called "flying buttresses"; According to the textbookthe designers of gothic cathedrals formed their basic building with stone material. Recognized some system that they had to be developed that would overcome the bulk of a stone buttresses.
