The Club attack

Hello my dear people, as you know you have passed through many different collective memories that had made an impact in your life and may change your point ofview. Every memory can be positive and encouraging for the humanity but they also can be painful when we remember it. Today I have a very sad remembrance that has change our way ofthinking and acting in our daily life. A terrible attack perpetrated by the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) in a very important club of Bogota; they have made a lot of evilevents you know sixty years in war with them! That’s a lot, for that reason I choose this event that I think I would not forget as fighter of Colombia.
This incident occurs the 7th ofFebruary in the year 2003, the terrorist attack “El Nogal” Club in Bogota. It consisted a car bomb explosion into the building. The attack left more than thirty six death people, twohundred wounded people and three hundred sixty four that were not found at the place. According to our police reports, there were over six hundred people at the time of the terroristact. The explosion was caused by the detonation of more than 200 kilograms of C-4 explosive and ammonium.
After this terrible attempt we learn that the FARC are in the wrong waysince they just kill people and generate terror in many Colombians territories. The FARC are worldwide recognized like a terrorist group at the same level of Al Qaeda. In our countryfarmers are the most affected by the FARC acts because they are hidden in places where it is difficult to find them, for example the jungle.
In conclusion the FARC had been generatingterror in our country; however we had treated to defeat them, and right now the Colombian government is starting a peace negotiation with them. We want to stop this absurd war.
