Audio calibration procedure
This AFT calibration procedure will update (calibrate) the base levels for Audio performance tests. It is necessary to be done periodically and after any alterations of the mechanical/electrical layout has been done to the test fixture. The results of the calibration are stored on the station PC in specific attenuation files.
Hardware Requirement
Below is the equipmentrequired during this procedure:
1. Fully operating AFT test station
2. Calibration accessories:
o Sound Calibrator Type 4231

Calibration Procedure
PXI audio module self calibration procedure
To perform selfcalibration:
• Disconnect audio cables from PXI box
• Run Measurement & Automation
• Open NI-QAQmx Devices
• Right Click on NI PXI-4461 Dev1 and choos Self-Calibrate
• After calibrating Dev1,do the same for ther Dev2
• Connect all audio cables back to PXI module

1. Launch the regular production test software RIM GUI.
2. Selectthe “Audio Cal” at the bottom of the GUI. Click Start button to begin audio calibration.
