Basically this book tells the title says the biography of Benjamin Franklin, made by him. A man considered one of the most prestigious U.S. leaders might have. Benjaminwas not only a leader; this was a writer, inventor, scientist, and philosopher among many other things. A few of his famous writings were "Poor Richard's Almanac" and "ThePennsylvania Gazette."
This character is also recognized incredibly, for making some experiments with electricity. We can consider according to all details given to us inthis wonderful book, that he has been and always will be an honorable man, a true leader.
Franklin starts talking about his life in Philadelphia, his observations on what isliterature and philosophy along with the religion of America's Colonial and Revolutionary period. Literally his entire life is based on three major areas are: England,Paris and the U.S.

The first part of this book Franklin wrote it, but rather is dedicated to his son William, in which he told some anecdotes that Franklin lived, both goodand bad, for his son to know more about his father's life.
For the second part of the book there are letters received by Franklin showed that he continued hisautobiography. Franklin something very important to mention in this part were virtues he wanted to be converted into a perfect man; including in this: tranquility, silence, sincerity,and justice among many others.
In the rest of the book Franklin continued telling important facts of his life, the things that happened and with whom he pass them.
Withthis book we can really appreciate all the values that Benjamin had, we can consider Franklin another leader of the United States, someone that really knew what to do.
