Internationalization and international entrepreneurship among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is a topic of considerable relevance, principally owing to the observed growth effects of cross-border venturing, and the demonstrated capacity ofSMEs to drive economic development at national, regional, and global levels.

The best way to understand the internationalization in all his point view is to define Globalization, mentioning that countries can interact each other in order to make different types of exchanges and by the way developing the globaleconomy. Actually, globalization refers to the integration of economics and societies all over the world and involves technological, economic, political, and cultural exchanges made possible largely by advances in communication, transportation and infrastructure.
Globalization has led many enterprises to settle their subsidiaries across boundaries in order to benefit of the different advantages ofeach countries. So they can choose to settle in some country in order to pay fewer taxes, or to take advantages of a low cost workforce…etc.

In order to have some data information I have use the variable of the exports and imports, to explain the international situation of the country explaining in the next two paragraphs the evolution of the small and medium enterprises.
According to theexperimental Outward IATS completed in 2011, there were in 2009 more than 800 Ireland groups (excepting the bank sector) with at least one subsidiary outside the European Union. They owned almost 25 000 foreign subsidiaries (including the EU) that achieved during the year cumulated sales of some 760 billion Euro and employed nearly 4 million persons.
The global dimension of largest groups it isshowed by their geographical presence, actually, almost half of these groups are established in 42 countries or more, while half of the medium-size groups are established in 8 countries or more. And for the smaller groups, half of them are not established in more than 2 countries.
More over the major role for SMEs is played by themselves, and their representatives, in the area. These bodiesshould advise on development needs and suitable provision, promote the importance of SME management development among their members, develop networks and other means of peer-to-peer learning and work with State funding organisations to arrange and deliver development opportunities.

While three students (ArnaudCourdesses, Arnaud Thiollier and Laurent Windenberger) were studying at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Clermont Ferrand, they create the idea of their own company: ALT was started up in 1997 and Babymoov just one year later. To make this dream come true, they received grants and also prizes for being a promising project.
Babymoov is a French company and in only 13 years have become a key playerin the baby care market. They design, produce, sell and distribute high quality nursery products that are innovative, trendy and easy to use. Its products can divided in meal, health and care, beds, toys, pregnancy, gift, appliance, baby monitors, diaper bag, travel cot and bouncer.
It has presence in more than 30 countries. Today they are already 45 Babymoov’s employees, spread over differentareas of the firm: marketing, sales, quality and logistics control, all of them not only taking into account consumer’s needs but also within the market.
