Research report.
Introduction.
Benzene is an important part of our life because we can find in the plastics we use everyday, flavoring chemicals, thanks to its physical and chemical Property exactly get all those benefits, however, benzene also causes various diseases, for example, cancer, therefore must be extremely careful when we handle it.

Inthis research report, I´m going to talk about physical characteristics, dangers, uses and derivatives of benzene.

Physical characteristics.
Below are some physical characteristics of benzene:(a) Benzene is a colorless, mobile and volatile liquid. It's boiling point is 80°C and freezing point is 5.5°C. It has characteristic odor.
 (b) It is highly inflammable and burns with sooty flame.
  (c) It is lighter than water. It's specific gravity at 20°C is 0.8788
 (d) It is immiscible with water but miscible with organic solvents such as alcohol and ether.
 (e) Benzene itself is a goodsolvent. Fats, resins, rubber, etc. dissolve in it.
 (f) It is a non-polar compound and its dipole moment is zero.
 (g) It is an extremely poisonous substance. Inhalation of vapors or absorptionthrough skin has a toxic effect.

DANGERS
I considered that benzene is very dangerous because cause diseases like types of cancer.

Benzene is used to make drugs, detergents, pesticides that whenconsumed or used incorrectly it can affect our health in the medium term and long term. It makes your body's cells do not function properly. To health complications depends on the number exposedand the overall health of each person.
Signs of exposure to benzene can occur within minutes or hours, some of the signs presented are: Vomiting after benzene exposure may result in particulatesentering the lungs and resulting in coughing or breathing difficulties. Symptoms of ingesting high levels of benzene include vomiting, abnormal heartbeat, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, drowsiness,...
