The Bible can be interpreted and read in many ways. There is no right or wrong way to read the Bible, because everyone thinks differentlyand this can lead people to interpret it one way or another. However, Catholic Church supports the contextualist approach to reading the Bible. Contextualist approach is that the assimilation of theBible is the Word of God written by man through appearances to different authors and at different points in time. When we try to read the Bible, so contextualist assimilates it. So we are left with themessage in general and not delve into the message. We must bear in mind that times have changed. Today the literature, how to write even of thinking has changed radically since the Bible was written.So we also have to take this into account. The Bible was written many years ago. On the other side of this cultural dilemma there is the fundamentalist approach. When we read the Bible in afundamentalist, trying to read text and interpret it in the most literal possible, knowing that it was the divine word of God that wanted to write those letters of the Bible and in that moment. On the otherhand, interpreting the scriptures in a contextualist, they will always appear arguments and problems with others because each one with the contextualist approach, you can interpret it one way or anotheras I have said before. We also have to be careful that reading the Bible with a fundamentalist approach can take you to be wrong because the laws and and what is acceptable or not society has alsochanged.

When we read the Bible, using different trategies to interpret the Bible, can lead us to assimilate the messages differently from that pretended.
