Axl started playing piano and singing in the Pentecostal church choir at age 5 years.
Axl age 17 found that the man he had alwaysbelieved his father, L. Stephen Bailey, was actually his stepfather. After hearing this Axl decides to change his name to Bailey for the Rose (the name of his real father). Began thinking about starting agroup just when he was 17 and joined a band in Lafayette, singing, but he wanted to be a rock star.
Axl was a teenager in your home. He was detained for more than 30 times. Because he was related todrinking or riot in the streets. After training with his friend Jeff Isabelle (who later changed the name to Izzy Stradlin) a band called Hollywood Rose, they traveled to Los Angeles (California).
