Claudia Lars
Margarita del Carmen Brannon Vega, known by his pseudonym Claudia Lars (Armenia, December 20, 1899, San Salvador, July 22, 1974) was a Salvadoran poet. His work is considered a refined lyricism and mastery of the metric.
Early years
His parents were Peter Patrick Irish and Salvadoran Carmen Brannon Vega Zelayandía. During his childhood friend was Suncin Consuelo, who was wife ofAntoine de Saint-Exupéry. Travel and publications
Brannon returned to El Salvador with her husband in 1927, having been appointed United States consul, and that same year gave birth to her only son Leroy Brannon Beers. Also, a collection of his work was produced by Matilde Elena Lopez named Selected Works. Before his death received an honorary doctorate from the Jose Simeon Canas Central American University, and isalso awarded the Order of José Matías Delgado.
To be released posthumously last Poetry, printed by the University Press, and David Escobar Galindo drafted his best poems, published by the Publications Division in 1976. In 1999, commemorating the centenary of his birth, the National Council for Culture and the Arts published two volumes of his Complete Poetry, compiled by Carmen Gonzalez Huguet.Some works
