Brigadeiro Recipe

1 can sweetened condensed milk -- (395g)
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon butter -- sof
1 package chocolate sprinkles

In a heavy saucepan, mix the milk, cocoa and butter. Stir todissolve the
chocolate. Put over low heat and stir constantly with a wooden spoon. Continue stirring and cooking until you are able to see the bottom of the pot when you tilt the pan(the mixture willjust slide quickly). This should take 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a greased plate. Let cool. Butter your hands and roll the mixture into small balls and roll over the chocolate sprinkles.Variations: you can substitute the cocoa powder for 100g baking chocolate. If you want a lighter candy use powdered chocolate(such as quick). You can also put raisins or nuts in the center of the candy. You candecorate with powdered sugar instead, or cocoa powder.

Ingredients:
• 1 tin sweetened condensed milk
• 2-3 Tablespoons Nestle Quick (or other "chocolate milk" powder - notcocoa)
• 2 Tablespoons butter
• Chocolate sprinkles or granulated sugar
• Tiny paper candy cups
Method:
1. Combine first three ingredients in a heavy pot and stir constantly over medium heat,bringing to a boil.
2. Continue stirring about two minutes - or until mixture thickens enough to coat the bottom of the pan.
3. Remove from heat and carefully scoop hot mixture out of pot into a separatebowl to cool.
4. Cool completely.
5. Coat hands with butter and scoop out a tablespoon sized amount into the palm of your hand. Roll into a small ball, roll the ball in sprinkles or sugar and letrest in paper cup.
Makes about 40.
*Sinful secret. Brazilians also like to eat Brigadeiro right out of the pot. Let it cool enough so you don' t get scorched, pass around a few teaspoons and dig in!Ingredients:
